What Is Activation?

They’re life in dormancy, just waiting for the right conditions to awaken and grow.
That’s why we activate all nuts, seeds, buckwheat and quinoa in our products by long-soaking them in slightly salted water to simulate their sprouting conditions.
By activating we’ve removed a significant part of the toxins (such as phytic acid) and enzyme inhibitors that all seeds naturally contain as defense mechanisms. This process improves digestion and nutrient absorption in the body.
They’re then dehydrated at low temperature until deliciously crunchy while maximising their natural nutritional value.
