Some Things Shouldn’t Be Rushed

Our activated nuts and seeds are traditionally prepared through a long soaking process in purified
water with a touch of natural salt.
They are then slowly dehydrated at low temperatures until they develop the clean, refined flavour,
lighter texture and distinctive crunch our customers have come to recognise.
It takes time. That’s intentional.
We’re not interested in shortening a process simply because it would allow us to make more, faster.
For us, craftsmanship still matters.

Even Our Roasting Process Is Different

Our roast nuts begin with nuts that have already been fully activated.

Roasting is then carried out as an entirely separate process.

Only once the roasting is complete, as the freshly roasted nuts begin to cool, are they coated with
quality Greek extra virgin olive oil and Himalayan pink salt sourced from Pakistan.

That sequence is deliberate. Rather than coating the nuts beforehand and exposing the extra virgin
olive oil to the full roasting temperature, we add it afterwards as the nuts cool.

It’s another step. Another process. Another detail. But those details are exactly what ActivEarth
Food is built on.

Traditionally Stone Ground

Our nut butters aren’t simply blended at high speed and put into a jar.

They are traditionally stone ground in small batches using a slow grinding process designed to keep
the product below 40°C.

Rather than relying on high speed processing that can generate excessive heat, the nuts are
gradually ground until they develop their naturally smooth, creamy consistency.

It’s slower. Again, that’s the point.

We choose the process based on the quality of the finished food, not simply on how quickly we can
produce it.

The Ingredient on the Label Should Be the Real Thing

We apply that same standard to every ingredient that goes into our products.

When we say maple syrup, we mean genuine Canadian Grade A Dark, Robust Maple Syrup. Not
maple flavoured syrup or a cheaper substitute.

When we say cinnamon, we use true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, sourced from Sri
Lanka, rather than the more common alternatives often sold simply as cinnamon.

The same attention goes into the herbs, spices, oils, cacao, coconut products, dried fruits, nuts and
seeds used throughout our range.

We don’t choose an ingredient simply because it technically allows us to put the right words on the
label. We want the real ingredient. And we want the quality to be right.

The Difference Is in the Details

There are easier ways to make food. There are faster ways. And there are certainly cheaper ways.

But that isn’t why we started doing this.

ActivEarth Food is about taking exceptional certified organic ingredients and treating them with
the care they deserve.

Long soaking. Slow dehydration. Small batch production. Traditional stone grinding. Carefully
considered roasting. Quality ingredients. No unnecessary fillers and no shortcuts simply for the
sake of efficiency.

NO FILTERS. NO SHORTCUTS. NO COMPROMISE.

Ultimately, Our Customers Tell the Story

We can explain our ingredients and processes all day, but ultimately the food has to prove itself.
And that’s the part we’re most proud of.

Again and again, our customers talk about the freshness. The crunch. The flavour. The quality of
our nuts and seeds. The texture and purity of our nut butters. The care in the packaging. The speed
of their order arriving. The little samples that introduce them to something they may never have
otherwise tried. And, importantly, the personal service they receive when they deal with us.

Those things aren’t separate from the product. They’re all part of the standard we want the
ActivEarth Food name to represent

Hands On, Every Day

ActivEarth Food is a hands on business.

As co owner and director, Andrew is involved across the day to day operation and direction of the
company, from ingredient sourcing and supplier relationships through to production, product
development, packaging, wholesale partnerships, customer experience and the continued
development of the brand.

That involvement is deliberate.

If an ingredient isn’t up to the standard we expect, we want to know about it. If a product can be
improved, we work on it. If a customer has an issue, we deal with it. And when customers take the
time to tell us what they love or what they think we could do better, we listen.

Because building a great food brand isn’t only about what happens during production. It’s about
caring about the entire experience.

Growing Without Losing What Matters

Our ambition for ActivEarth Food is significant.

We want to continue building a genuinely respected premium Australian organic food brand and
introduce more people to what properly sourced and carefully crafted organic food can be.

But growth will never be worthwhile if it means losing the things that made the food special in the
first place.

The ingredients. The processes. The craftsmanship. The freshness. The service. And the willingness
to take the longer road when we believe it produces a better result.

That’s what we intend to protect as ActivEarth Food grows.

Honest food, crafted with passion, for real health.

Because ultimately, the difference shouldn’t just be something we tell you about. You should be able
to taste it.
